CQM, as the national certification body (NCB) representing China to join the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEx) multilateral certification system for explosion-proof Electrical Safety Certification system, has long been committed to the research and development of explosion-proof safety, quality and standards.
CQM is a certification body for China Compulsory Certificate (Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment), IECEx certification, and CQMEx Certification. At present, CQM can provide China Compulsory Certificate (Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment), IECEx explosion-proof electrical equipment certification, CQM explosion-proof electrical equipment certification, CQM explosion-proof electrical equipment maintenance service factory certification, as well as explosion-proof certification training, explosion-proof technical services and combination certification services (IECEx + ATEX "one-stop" combination certification services).
China Compulsory Certificate (Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment)
Explosion-proof electrical equipment has been officially included in the China Compulsory Certificate scope since October 1, 2019, from the previous production license to China Compulsory Certificate, and the transition period is 1 year. That is, since October 1, 2020, explosion-proof electrical equipment has not obtained China Compulsory Certificates and are not marked with China Compulsory Certificate marks, and may not be exported, sold, imported or used in other business activities. According to the latest China Compulsory Certificate catalog description and definition table, there are 18 types of explosion-proof electrical equipment included in China Compulsory Certificate. The standards involved are GB/T 3836.1~9, GB/T 3836.31.
As one of the designated certification bodies for China Compulsory Certificate, CQM prepares the certification implementation rules (CQM10-C2301-2024) in accordance with the requirements of the China Compulsory Certificate implementation Rules (Explosion-proof electrical equipment), and the implementation rules are jointly implemented.
IECEx Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment Certification
IECEx certification refers to the safety certification of explosion-proof electrical products (referred to as Ex equipmentproducts) recognized by the International Electrotechnical Commission. Its international certification of Ex products in accordance with IEC standards, the purpose is to ensure the appropriate level of safety of explosion-proof electrical products under the premise of eliminating unnecessary international duplication of certification and inspection, to promote international trade.
The ultimate goal of the IECEx system is worldwide acceptance of one standard, one IECEx Certification of Conformity and one IECEx Mark of Conformity.
As the only national certification body (NCB) representing China to join the multilateral certification system of the International Electrotechnical Commission's Explosion-proof Electrical Safety Certification System (IECEx), CQM can issue explosion-proof Type inspection reports (ExTR), Factory Quality Inspection Reports (QAR), IECEx Certification of Conformity (CoC), Select the product certification mode of type inspection (product inspection) + factory quality system inspection + post-certification supervision.
Decision Rule for IECEx: No decision rule is specified by the standards for IECEx testing, when comparing the measurement result with the applicable limit according to the specification in these standards. The decisions on conformity are made without applying the measurement uncertainty as described in IECEx OD 012 (i.e. “simple acceptance” decision rule).
CQM Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment Certification
CQM explosion-proof electrical equipment certification is one of the voluntary product certification services carried out by CQM. The CQM mark has been applied to show that the products meet the requirements of explosion-proof safety and quality.
